Access Audits

Our Access auditors are all building professionals who have undergone specialist training in Access awareness and Access auditing.

As members of the centre for Accessible Environments, a charity specialising in access issues for disabled people, they remain constantly up to date
on what is an evolving area of expertise.
The requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act go beyond the Building Regulations, which are only a minimum basic requirement for a limited
range of disabilities.
To take steps to ensure you comply with the necessary laws it is
advisable to have an Access Audit report completed of your premises by a qualified Access Auditor.

Disability Access Audit reports

The Disability Access Audit report examines the access issues of  arising from part 3 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and section T28 of the Special Educational Disability Act and gives recommendations on how these issues
can be resolved.

Desktop Disability Access Audit Reports

The Desktop Disability Access Audit report examines the issues of proposed buildings before construction commences. It is far better and easier to
incorporate facilities for disabled people in a new building before it is
constructed, rather than be forced into retrospective alterations later.
